As many of you may know, or guessed, I am very interested in fashion and one-day making a career out of it. Obviously, I realise that this a long time away, but I figured that informing myself about the industry more could only be a good thing. With this in mind, I logged on to amazon and purchased this book with some vouchers that I had left over from Christmas.
First off, the price was amazing, I paid £7 for this book and it also comes with a years worth of free subscriptions for Teen Vogue. I think this is cheaper than actually buying the magazines, so even if you just want them, it is worth getting this book!
As to the actual content, I loved it! It covers all areas of the fashion industry from designing to editing, beauty to photography. It is set out in a very readable style, with lots of beautiful photos, interviews with leading figures and tips on getting into the industry. I also love the note pages in the back for making plans and writing down important bits of information.
After reading this book, I feel a lot more informed about what a job in the fashion/beauty industry would mean and how to get the best headstart in getting a job. I would recommend this book to anyone looking or interested in this area, or even if you are unsure and just want to know more!

I bought this book when I was about 10 and 3 years on I still love it, all my basic fashion knowledge comes from that baby.
